Best settings for battery longevity - Precision 5550

My employer just issued me a new Precision 5550.  I'll be using it plugged in, in my cubicle most of the time.  What settings should I select, in the BIOS and in Windows, for best battery longevity?

@RichSPK  Set the maximum charge level to 80% and the minimum charge level to 50%.  Just understand that you'll only ever have at most an 80% charge available to use, and in some cases you might find yourself with only a 50% charge even if you'd been connected to the wall for hours prior to disconnecting.  But if those potential everyday inconveniences are acceptable, then the setup I just described will be ideal because the battery will spend the vast majority of its time totally idle, i.e. not being charged, or kept topped up, or even being actively discharged.  I provided a bit more background in my answer in this thread if you're curious.
