Dell M2800 (AMD HD8790M)
Hi.
I am Dell user from Indonesia....
After having trouble with freezing issue force me to downgrade my OS to WIN 7 Ult, But i can't instal the latest VGA driver of HD8790M and the only driver that works was AMD Firepro from this website: https://www.driveridentifier.com/scan/amd-firepro-w4170m-driver/driver-detail/5E2C1F1D0FE94C36B96E3D13F2947079/3367686/d36c66ff44798562688848c58975bc10/2134938932/PCI-VEN_1002%26DEV_6606%26SUBSYS_06841028.
I checked my Device Manager and it's said HD8790M but with AMD FirePro W4170M drive...
Can anyone explain this things that happen to me now???

Uninstall everything with this software : amd cleanup utility

Once done, go on the official Dell website with the exact model of your computer and take the driver proposed on the website, not the one from an obscure website.

According to your computer model, there is only this video card : AMD FirePro W4170M

Lets start with the incorrect reporting in Device Manager.
I have seen this before and in most cases a BIOS update is issued to solve it.
Make sure you are up to date.

Next.
Important Information:
- Before installing the AMD graphics driver, you must install the Intel graphics driver.

Then install the AMD driver.
