Dell Precision 5560 - the keyboard draws the matrix
Hello everyone, please help. I have noticed that the keyboard on the Precsion 5560 is wiping the matrix when the laptop lid is closed. It is clearly visible in the gap of the closed laptop that the keyboard touches the matrix and damages it.
Dell Poland service does not want to fix it under warranty and ... offers me a paid repair pointing to mechanical damage (application No. 152882551).
What is very interesting, mechanical damage Dell Service seems to see telepathically because so far they have not seen him
Of course, the laptop is not damaged in any way. The laptop is several months old, it is new.
Any advice ...?

I own the 5550 model (same chassis) and to be honest there isn't any gap when the lid is closed. It seems to me that there might be something wrong with the hinges, perhaps? Is the "bump" on your keyboard clearly visible? If so, it could damage the screen - if the lid is closing properly that is (hinges remark).
Make sure you provide the technician with several photos of your device. I found Dell Poland tech support extremely helpful when I requested their aid, hopefully you will too!

Thank you for your support. There is a slight gap between the cover and you can see how the keys touch the matrix. Not all of them, those from the inside. The funniest thing is that Serwis Polska is already touching, that this emotion nemei signed commitments (maybe for a fee) although they have never seen this laptop. The laptop has never been any way. There was a suspicion that we let go, but there was a battery installed in the middle of the circle, not under it. Something stinks to me that they do not want to take on the guarantee of the guarantee title.
Do you know how to contact the product manager responsible for Precission?

Oh, if it was a matter of hinges, then the row of the keyboard with numbers would also be reflected, would you agree :-)?
