Dell Precision 7560 & WD19TBS
Hello,
I have several Dell Precision 7560 with WD19TBS docks, in general these seem to work well, one of the issues I am having with them is when we power up the computer, sometimes the dock doesn't work until we have logged into the computer using the laptop keyboard, (rather than a usb keyboard attached through the dock,)
I work for a reasonably big company and am not the main IT dept (they are unsure why this happens too), we are fairly sure there is GPO that is causing this, but we are unsure what or why,
Has any one experienced this or can anyone advise what GPOS should be enabled to make a thunderbolt dock function correctly?
Thanks for any thoughts or input,

Why you use WD19TBS and not WD19DCS, which is the preferred model for Precision model family.
Now you have to connect the dock and charger. WD19TBS does not deliver enough power when using alone.
What if you disable BIOS setting (remember suspend bitlocker before going to BIOS):
Power management - USB Wake Support - Wake on Dell USB-C Dock
Now start the device using laptop power button. I have not used WD19TBS with Dell Precision 7560 so my proposal may not work. WD19DCS is USB Type-C dock and WD19TBS is Thunderbolt dock.

Hi there
Thank you for the reply,
I am looking at using the WD19TBS dock as this has a higher throughput of data than the WD19DCS dock,
I believe the WD19TBS dock has a possibility of up to 40GBPS, while the WD19DCS can only handle around 25GBPS.
We are running 2 Dell 4k monitors at 60hz, according to Dells datasheets can have a transfer rate of a 4k monitor is 12.5 GBPS which will make up to the 25GBPS. Leaving basically no space for any additional peripherals or future proofing. (adding additional monitors / data transfers, basically i want to avoid bottlenecking through the dock)
Do correct me if my understanding of this is wrong. :]
While in use the laptops will basically be on the dock all the time, be taken to meetings and possibility of home working, so having the docks "slow charging" isnt a huge issue or having the addtional 1 cable.
Ill have a look at that setting and see if it helps, thank you,
