How to check if M6800 is eDP model?
I want to buy an m6800, but for upgrading purposes, it needs to be an eDP motherboard. How would I be able to check this? Is there some display resolution that would give away that it is eDP?

.eDP “embedded DisplayPort” and since 2013 or so it is pretty much the mainstream interface between the video adapter and a laptop’s display panel. Other than what limited information you can extract from Bios Setup and programs like DxDiag, GPU-Z, and HWinfo64, as well as the age of the laptop itself, I have no idea how to determine if eDP is used.

Do you know if I can get if it is eDP by checking the service tag? Also, what would I have a seller look at if in CPU-Z or whatever if I wanted to check if it is eDP?

Motherboard marked:
LA-9781P = LVDS
LA-9782P = eDP
This should be on either side of the board. Remove the CD drive an look in the window below.
