M4400 start up problems
Hello
My M4400 has startred delevoping a problem where when starting the laptop up would result in the light just flickering and the fan would spin for 3 secs and a error code would display on the front lights of the m4400, but waiting a few mins and pressing the on switch and the laptop would start, this got longer to a stage where it wouldnt work so tapping the back/sides and keyboard area the laptop would start when pressing the on button, this week this method has got worse where i would try these methods for the first 10 mins but nothing would happen, so leaving them4400 plugged in and tapping the back/sides and front of the keyboard harder would start the laptop up.
I had upgraded the m4400 from a p8700 to a Q9000 and i thought this was the problem as the m4400 worked flawlessy for the first 3 months, i then yesterday replaced the Q9000 back to the P8700 still the problem persist, i even tried reseating the ram again no luck, so i replaced the p8700 with the Q9000 again.
when the m4400 on button is pressed, the fans spin for 3 secs then the 9 flashes, while the A and Arrow down stay stactic
Thanks

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

M4400 is out of warranty as its a laptop from 2008, also the Service Tag number wouldnt really be useful as the configurations of the product have changed beyond the original specification ie CPU Ram HD & OS.
