Mobile Precision 7740 and U3219Q

Since todays BIOS-Update the USB-C connection to the monitor doesn´t work anymore.. No reaction when plugged in or out. It worked before the automatic update. Is there already a solution?
And can anybody tell me why Hyper Threading in BIOS is getting deactivated by the Optimizer software every time i restart the computer?
