operating on ac supply
I own dell precision 5530 and I mostly use it for 3D modelling and rendering purposes. In a day I use almost 5 to 6 hours of my laptop in AC power supply. should I worry about battery degradation? if yes, Is there anything i need to do?

According to Dell leaving your adapter plugged in all the time will not affect the battery. There is a lot of information on the Internet and here are some of the articles. This from Dell and this as well. Also have a look at this site and this site.
