Precision 5530 - Xeon 2176m support of ECC RAM ?
Hi guys !
Does the precision 5530 with Xeon processor support ECC RAM ? I haven't found a clear answer if Yes or Not..

Hi @Gromak123 ,
I'm afraid not. Page #11 of Official spec shows non-ECC only, as well as memory upgrade options from Dell or Crucial. A previous thread with same question on 5520 with a negative result on practice test. Further checked UserBenchmark: Dell Precision 5530 Compatible Components which with real-world benchmarks submitted by owners of this system, and shows no Xeon + ECC.
