Precision 5570- Windows Experience Index

My Precision 5570 has a system score of 5.4.  What should it be, realistically? I say this system has problems.

Apparently, Dell makes its decisions based on WEI.  See below:

Your system is a mobile workstation, and is designed for portability in mind.

From the reports and technical findings, your system is working well without any faults, and we have decided the replacement on the system is not applicable on this case.

For your perusal once more, do read on :

Thank you.

Why don't you run some benchmark tests on this machine to see how well it performs.  Don't say things like I am not sure, I don't know, I did it because people told me to do it.  Those are for excuses for middle school kids.

You don't have equipment to run full system testing as the folks at RTINGS but to give you idea, you can try Geekbench, Cinebench, and many more as suggested from the folks at cgdirector .  Only do this if you want to test your machine, don't do it because I say so.

A workstation is meant for serious works, not for some number guessing of good or bad.  Palm reader and fortune teller are making better guesses than that.  Stop pestering the community with the same rambling that your system has problems without providing actual performance issue and saying what type of help you need from the community.

If you are really unhappy with the machine, returning it.  Problem solve.

Hi China de Oro

Thanks for the advice.  I will try what you suggested.

I use Dell Precision Optimizer System Diagnostics which returns poor and very poor ratings. See below.  Client Resolution Manager tells me I can't rely on it because it is reading old logs from installation.  I cleared the logs and it still returns poor and very poor ratings.  The Client Resolution Managers instructed me to run WinSat, which again returned low scores. They are basing their decisions on WinSat.

I rejected the system on the day of delivery, when it was fully setup and updated when it failed Dell Precision Optimizer System Diagnostics.  Tech support then had me reinstall Windows numerous times which didn't change anything.  Now they are telling me it doesn't qualify for warranty replacement even though I rejected the system in February 2023.
