Precision 7520 Pre Boot PCIe Training Error Link Degraded (ePSA 4306.29 - Warning)
Hi guys
I recently installed some new RAM and had a lot of issues with Windows not starting up, long story short I ended up keeping my old RAM and reinstalling Windows. I checked RAM compatibility with the manufacturer and it is compatible, hence I suspect my wows were caused by something else, possibly the below.
When my Precision 7520 would not boot up I ran the Diagnostics / ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment and received the below error
ePSA 4306.29 - Warning
PCIe - Training error PCI tag-0100 VendorID-10DE DeviceID-13B6 SVid-1028 SDid-07B0 Bus 01: link Degraded, maxWidth x16, negWidth x8, PCIe Slot 01
Does anyone know what this error means? I am hoping that if I can figure out this obscure error, I can then fix this and add in my new RAM.
Thanks
Nick

That vendor ID ,10DE, refers to the NVidia GPU which I assume you have in your 7520. That could point toward a MB problem.

Hi JOcean
I have a Quadro M1200 driver version 531.41 with an Intel(R)Xeon(R)CPU-E3-1505M v6 with a Dell baseboard 0DFG9Y version A00.
I have run all the full Dell Support diagnosis test but it didn't find anything.
Is there any other way to diagnose this fault and potentially fix it?
Thanks
Nick
