Thunderbolt wd19 update

Hi to all,

I would like to ask you something. I'm trying to update wd19 with last software. I don't know why but it fails again and again (pic added). 

I can update this FW on another type C laptop but I prefer to understand how I can resolve it with primary one?

Dock connected to Dell Precision 5520 and all is up to date. Also,Dock is looking good in device manager .

Do you have any ideas?

Hi Guys,

first of all, thank you for your help and feedbacks. I resolve this issue by reinstall Controller-Driver. Looks like I had this one but corrupted or something.

Now all working goood.

@Ariel_S81  I know that on the WD15, firmware updates were only possible from certain Dell systems because dock firmware updates ran at system boot time, like BIOS updates.  I'm not sure if the WD19 works the same way, but if you have no trouble updating the firmware on a 5520, which would be a fully supported Dell system, but DO have trouble using some other system model that you didn't specify, then the model of the other system is likely the issue.

laptop is updated with last BIOS version. By the way i tried to go back with some older ones but it didn't help.

I know that on previous versions (TB16) we had problems with same update so i need to uninstall video driver (I really don't know why) and all went stable .

it's remote user so i can't try to do that with another laptop. May Be we will meet after 2-3 weeks and I'll be able to go for it with my laptop
