"Cable - Fail, List of error codes - Cables - functional tests - D0901" fail error
with no explanation as to what the code means or which cables the error is referring to. If anyone has any idea or knows what I need to do to put this right please let me know, thank you.
Same with me on the Cables - Functional Tests - D0901 - fail. Whatever that test is says it passed 2 times in each month April-June 2022 - and, now the 2 times it was tested in July, both come back as fail.
Same exactly for me Cable test failing starting in July. This is dell injecting error output on the scan in attempt to get people off of the old systems. I am running XPS-8500s that weren't supported by Dell for Windows 10. Used to be a great company; I have had a bunch of Dell hardware thought the 2000's but this is the end.
Not going to lie...but telling someone to just frag their £2000 laptop with basically a re-install instead of giving proper technical support for a widely known error is just BS. You'd be fired in a proper programming house for giving this as a response.

k_j,
*Step 1: Restore the operating system* to a date and time when the system worked correctly. Watch this video to learn how:
https://dell.to/3op6EkZ
*Note: Any apps or updates installed after the selected restore date will be removed. However, your data will not be affected.
Restart and test the system. Let me know if this resolves the issue.
