Would a Vertical Laptop Stand for Precision 5530 be harmful while running?
Hi, I am looking to clean up my work-from-home workspace and was considering a vertical laptop stand. I have two monitors running from the laptop and a host of peripherals so essentially every port on the laptop is in use. Would a vertical laptop stand be harmful to my PC if it is running? I want to have the laptop stay in a vertical position at all times to save space, is this ok or will it damage components?

It would have been nice if the question had been answered publicly , as I have the same questions. It seems that if I try to position my Dell Prevision 7750 vertically, the CPU speed drops to 0.8 Mhz and stays there, if the laptop is placed back horizontally. It takes a reboot to bring it back to normal speed.

Do you have any further updates on this? I'm looking for vertical mount usage as well for 7650. your feedback is appreciated?
Also any response from @DELL-Cares for this question?

Dell.
I have the same use case. My Precision 5550 is placed vertically while WFH. runs all time, powered on. never sleeps.
Will it harm ?
Any other impact I should be aware? Tips?
Thanks
