Hi, this is a Windows Firewall problem. I disabled the firewall and it works. Alternatively, you can add an exception to the firewall for this application:
Hi, thank you for your response and Yes it was the Windows Firewall, after a few hours i figured out that the firewall was the problem, and i have also added the exception.
I don't have the Scan2PC.exe in my folder there. I just switched from Windows Vista to Windows 8. Worked fine and seamlesly in Vista ... can't get scanning to work on my new computer. When I google Scan2PC there's a lot of hits citing spyware and such. Why would that be do you think?

Hi, i have the same problem with some computers in my network. I can't find why with some PC's it works but with other i got "Not Available" message.
Please let me know if you found a solution.
