1700 causing system reboot

I've discovered the problem to my printer causing a system reboot when it is turned on or wakes up from a nap.

The battery output level in my UPS had dropped below the standard voltage.  This caused the UPS to reset, thus emitting a high pitch tone and powering down, rebooting the computer.

If you have a similiar situation, check the UPS output.

You should NEVER plug laser printer in UPS - exactly for the reason you describe.

Laser printer is NOT plugged into the UPS.  It's utilizing the same AC circuit though.  An increase in load on the circuit along with the low battery output of the UPS caused the UPS to hick-cup and shut down the computer.
