1815dn: Active directory synchronisation with 1815dn addressbook?

Hello,

I have one question regarding the "Local Address Book"-Feature under "E-Mail Settings" in the Dell 1815dn Printer.

Is it possible to automatically synchronize the address book against our Active Directory Servers or Exchange Address Book?
- Currently only a few employees use the "Send scan to mail"-Feature. But the more use it, the harder it gets to maintain the address book.

Or can you somehow add lots of people at once in the address book?
- For example via an LDIF-File which you created with an LDAP-Statement against Active Directory. Or an CSV-File.

If the 1815dn does not provide this feature: Is there one printer from Dell which does?

Sincerely yours, LAU_Support

The integration on the 1815's isn't the best.  You are depending on a local print server that is built into the machine.  It is going to store all of the values internally.  Currently there is not an import feature to allow you to "mass edit" the address book.  I wish there was!

This internal print server is pretty common across all of DELL's printers.  Hopefully as their printers become more common in the workplace, we'll see some more advanced features.

Keep up on any releases for the 1815's though.
