2145cn - Scan to PC indicates "not available"

I'm a little stumped by this one.  I've had a 2145cn working fine for months now.  However, when i try to "scan to pc" from the printer it beeps and the lcd states "not available".   I don't really have any leads on how to sort this out. 

From the PC (windows 7 x64 - sp1) I'm trying to scan to:

  • I can get to the printer's web server and all the IP/dns settings are correct
  • I can print
  • the Dell Scan Manger shows the printer and states "ready to scan"
  • I've updated the printer's firmware and the drivers on the computer.
  • I've restarted both the printer and computer.
  • No desktop firewall running

I guess I'm just at a loss.  Anyone have any ideas?

I have exactley the same issue.

Windows 7 x64 SP1
