So, no thanks to Dell we found our own resolution to this issue. This was resolved by a man, who would not quit when DELL GAVE UP!!!! SO WE HOPE THIS HELPS OTHERS WHEN DELL FAILS TO DELIVER!!!

"Here is what I did to reset the Dell 3115cn Laser Printer. In the users manual for the 3115cn in section 6 "Changing System Settings" "Resetting Defaults" refers to page 64 where it says, " For more information, see "Reset Defaults" in the User's Guide. Only I did not get a User Guide with my Dell. So I Googled "3115cn user guide" and downloaded it to my desktop and then went to Resetting Defaults. In the attachment "Initializing NVRAM for Network Settings" is what I did. Hope this helps someone else."
