Called DELL, well they wanted to start with a factory reset. Nope, that's not an option. Printed the error log and everything looks ok. Network settings are fine, its operating at 100 FULL and autonegotiating fine. There is no multifunction card (no IPX, Appletalk, etc).
It's more of a nuisance than anything else. But why when attaching to another network segment should it start, that's the real question.
