lottec,

First try Delete Print Jobs and see if the print jobs will delete.

Then try using the instructions located at...

926 Photo All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7)

and then tell me what happens.

So I followed all the instructions and successfully reinstalled  the driver and the printer but the same document came back in the que. and it will not print or delete. It will not print anything, including a test print.  The message now says:

"Windows cannot print due to the current printer setup", although I cannot see anything wrong with the printer setup. It all looks like it is correct to me.

Although I don't know much my guess is that this document is one my daughter attempted to print after installing Windows 7 and prior to installing the driver download which seems to have locked things up! Don't know for sure. Any more suggestions?

lottec,

What are you trying to print from? If Word, did you click file, print and make sure the proper printer was selected? I have seen people send print jobs to the wrong printer causing these problems.

Also try checking this...

Enable Bidirectional Support/Enable Biodirectional Support and see if that helps.

lottec,

Right click on the Delete Print Jobs after you make it, then right click run as administrator. This shold delete the print job in the queue. Unless you want to do it manually.

To do it manually, you need to go to start, all programs, accessories and right click on the command prompt and left click run as administrator. then type

net stop spooler

del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.shd

del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.spl

net start spooler

That should delete the print job. It's actually easier to make the little command file.

I am printing from Word and the 926 is the only printer and set as default. I checked the bidirectional support and it is checked.

I know it must have something to do with that document that won't delete.
