944 all in one scanning issues

having installed printer and it prints and copies it will not scan on wireless network. All Dell support suggest is reloading software with no success. If you connect the printer by cable and install under windowsxp scanners it works fine.

Problem appears to be in windowsxp recognising scanner over wirelss network HELP. Other message postings indicate simlar probs come on Dell get it sorted!!
