968W cannot access network settings
I have a 968W with the wireless/Ethernet adapter and apparently also with the bluetooth option. When I try and access the network settings I get a message saying "A network connection is in progress. Please try again later" and it it kicks me out. If I connect a PC or network to the Ethernet jack the driver program on the PC doesn't find it. I can access the bluetooth defaults screen and change the on/off and discovery settings but other devices can't find it so it apparently is not working either. The printer/scanner works fine via USB.
Does anyone have any idea what can be done to get this going, or does it sound like the network adapter card is bad?
Thanks.

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to relate my troubles with this printer. I have a Lexmark Dell 968w printer with the Wireless, Wired, and Bluetooth capabilities. Never used bluetooth and didn't realize I had that feature (maybe I do, maybe I don't) until I looked the options. I've recently had to reset everything, finally figured out how to factory reset by going to the Maintenance menu.
1. Use the arrows to scroll down to Maintenance and press the Check button
2. Scroll all the way down to Reset Defaults and press the Check button
3. Choose Yes and press the Check button to reset defaults
4. Choose Yes and press the Check button to reset the Network Settings
Then press the Back button to return to the main menu. At this point everything should be resetting and will take a few minutes to complete this (for the network adapter). I would say wait at least 5 minutes with ALL CABLES UNPLUGGED except for the power.
1. Wait 5 minutes.
2. Use the arrows to scroll to Setup
3. Use the arrows to scroll to Network Settings
4. If you get the "Network connection in progress" message wait another 5 minutes and try again making sure that ALL CABLES ARE UNPLUGGED, yes even the network cable. Only the power should be plugged in.
5. If after another 5 minutes it still shows the "Network connection in progress" message, you have a bad adapter - I can't help you. Otherwise you should be at the configuration screen to set what you want or need.
