I have searched Dell's website for Mac OX drivers for your printer. I cannot find any drivers on Dell's website for your printer. It seems that Dell does NOT offer such. The printer Liason is on vacation until January 5th, but I feel you'll get the same answer from him.
A Dell 922 is reportedly identical to a Lexmark X5270, for which there is an OSX driver install available from Lexmark's webpage. I'm suspecting that some file mods may be necessary to get the Lexmark software to see the 922 as a Lexmark and not a Dell. I've installed the Lexmark driver on my 10.4.11 system, but it's not identifying the printer. :-(
