Printer will not print. I have cleaned the heads using the maintenance program. There is plenty of ink. Paper feeds as if wants to print,just blank pages.

Do the following in this order.
Unplug BOTH the USB cable and AC power brick from the back of the printer for 1 minute, then replug. That resets the printer registers to null.
If that makes no difference, wipe the electrical contacts on the back of the black ink cartridge and the matching contacts on the ink cart carrier.
If that makes no difference, put the old ink cart back in (it doesn't matter that it is empty). If that doesn't show the same message, then it is definately a defective new ink cart and Dell will replace it.
