a940 ink
i am having a hard time finding the ink for my printer. ihave look at the ink on dell and it doesn't look like my cartridge..both my black and color look the same but the ones on dell and different.. both of mine look like the color one..

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
From Dell.com, go to Software and Peripherals. Under Browse for Products, click on Printers & Scanners, then on Supplies & Accessories, and finally inkjet. This gives a list with the cartridges for Printers sold by Dell.

Your sites do not include the volume (in ml) of ink in either the black or the color cartridges. I need this information to purchase a product.
Would you buy a box of cereal without knowing how much you get?
I am a past HP printer customer. They post ink volumes on all packages. My ink lasted a lot longer too. I am trying to figure out why my Dell is so much more expensive. I always use the cheapest - quick setting.

Good suggestion. Any good sites to order kits and cheap ink?
I still would like to know how much the Dell cartridges hold. Not marking on packages is an unfair business practice. I am getting close to getting the BBB involved - Dell replied to my inquiry they hold 750ml, almost a Liter? I disputed, they corrected themselves saying they hold 40 oz -- way off -- more than 3 cans of coke in one cartridge? dont think so.
