A940 Printing very dark

Question

i have an A940. all of the pictures are printing a whole lot darker than how they appear on screen. the text prints fine, but the pictures are always dark.  i've tried adjusting the print quality, the paper type, etc.  nothing has worked so far.  any other ideas??

You can try this: on your printer there is a Option button press it until you find Lighter/Darker-use the arrow keys(-and +) until you ajust to what you want-press Select to save. You might want to power off and on your printer. Let me know if this works for you.... Good Luck Melissa mx247

hey, thanks!  i'll give that a try and see how it works. i noticed those buttons but i figured they only applied when you were making copies from the scanner.  thanks again!
