I can print everything but PDF files.  I downloaded the print driver for adobe as well, and i have all of the current software, but my printer wont go.  It starts to load it, then freezes and progresses no further.  What the heck as i missing?

TobySobo,

Since this is only happening with Adobe Reader...

Start, control panel, programs and features, Adobe Reader, uninstall.

Restart your computer.

Download the latest version of Adobe Reader and install it. There was a new release, just a day or two ago.

TobySobo,

Open your Adobe pdf.

Click on file, print and make sure the proper printer is selected.

TobySobo,

Not sure if you'll need to run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue.

Open Adobe Reader PDF, click on file, print. On the right side, make sure it's set for Documents and markups.

TobySobo,

Glad you got it working! :emotion-21: Thanks for posting back.

May I ask, what solved the problem, reinstalling Adobe Reader?

Funny thing, it is doing it again.   But i noticed, when you go into printer, advanced, and then to the ink supply tap the ink tanks are labeled as question marks.  i have plenty of ink.   And funnier yet, when i go to print the printbox tells me to order ink.  Its bizarre, like the printer is telling adobe that there is no ink, but why?  it doesnt when i go to a WORD doc and it tell me on my control panel that i have over 75% ink left.   Im stumped.  I thought i had it figured out.  apparently not.    How i can override that ink status tab and make it nonexistent?

and thats only when in adobe;  pull up a doc, then hit print, then when the window comes up, to go advanced options and on the far right it says ink supply and ink status, or something.    i hate that tab, i need it gone.  i think thats what it messing it up.   and why today?  why did it work yesterday??

TobySobo,

Are you using Dell brand Series cartridges?

What does the printer say?

What printer and model do you have?

Start, control panel, printers, your printer, printer preferences. What does the ink levels read there?

They are dell brand inks.  Printer says it is ready to go.  I have a dell printer , the p513 wireless.    Ink levels under preferences says question marks as well , but when you check the levels on the printer menu on the printer they say they are full.   Never had this happen before.  Printer says full , computer says question mark.   Maybe I should take them out and out in again and see if it resets it
