AIO 962..Unable to load CD onto computer...

My AIO 962 is brand new, and I'm unable to load its Driver CD onto XP computer successfully. After I see that the Cd installs, a window comes up informing that the printer did not successfully install. I un-installed it twice, and re- installed twice to no avail.  I'm downloading the drivers update for 'printing and scanning' from Dell, yet I wonder if the installation of this download will take if the Cd didn't?   Any advice?? Thanks
