AIO Printer A920 won't scan or copy

Greetings,
                  I have a 3-in-on3 Dell AIO Printer A920 and when I first got my printer it could print, scan, and copy fine. It worked ok. Now for some reason when I try to copy or scan something nothing happens. Can someone help please?

"nothing happens" is a very broad term interms of identifying the right problem. Not many people would be interested in digging with your printer issue.
 
So include more specific details. It may attract much more suggestions (use a bit of marketing skills:smileywink:)

My apologies for not being specific. When I put a document to be copied on the copier and press the black button "black copy" nothing happens, it is as if I never pressed the button in the first place. It is also the same issue with the scanner, I place a document to be scanned and push the gray button, and no activity takes place.

Now if the buttons does not function, check your printer warranty and contact tech support for replacement.Try reinstalling drivers, It helps.

Have you tried removing the power brick from the rear of the unit, leaving it out for a few seconds, then replacing it?  The power brick is the large black square that the power cord plugs into, simply pull it straight out.  This can sometimes clear firmware glitches like the one you appear to be having.  Hope this helps!

Hi, I have a similar issue with the A920 printer.   I am using windows XP PRO OS at work.  Everything works if I log in as an ADMINISTRATOR but when I logged in as USER (any USER). the Scanner and copier will ot function!  The printer function continues to work.  Windows will give me an error message box: AIO exe

AIO exe has encountered a problem and needs to be close.  We are sorry for the inconvienence.

then you have the option of sending Microsoft the error report.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?  I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer/driver and and problem remains.
