Does this happen with all paper types? Is the paper guide flush against the paper edge (moved to the right)? Is the paper all the way into the printer?
Also, prior, I had issues with the paper pulling too much where the roller is and so it would cumple and tear. I had got it to work ok for a little with angling the paper a little to the left so when it pulled the paper, it would straighten out.

I'm having this exact same problem. It just started last night, and I've had the printer only 3 months.
I've been trying to figure out what's wrong via the forums and the knowledge base, but I can't find an answer or a fix.
I guess my next step is to call support, but from everything I read, I'm not expecting much help.

Yes, to all the questions.

But now it just doesn't want to grab it at all.

Answer to printer problem,
I ended up ringing support and the dispached a new printer
Looking at it , it must be a common fault with it.
