All in one printer - Cartridge error 1203 - Help Please

1. I changed out the black ink cartridge about a month ago. Things worked fine until today.
2. Today I got the error message - Cartridge error 1203
3. I opened up a new black ink cartridge and put it in. It gives the error - cartridge incorrect.
4. I still had the old (low on ink cartridge) I removed about a month ago. I put it in. It works, but gives the message "low on ink"
5. The above is repeatable. By changing out the cartridges I get the respective messages associated with the cartridge.
6. All three cartridges have the same part number : M4640
7. The Printer is Machine Type-Model : 4409-0d1

I suspect cartridges to be at fault, especially if an old one works without error. Give support a call.

Given that the printer is not under warranty, it looks like
I have to agree to a $99.00 charge to call support. Do you know how to do this without incurring this charge?

well since the carts were purchased seperately, i think you should be able to get support on that as well as a replacement. try to call them
