c1765 air printer does not work with apple unless you pay
i have just spent all evening trying to connect my ipad with my new Dell C1765nfw air printer. i finally gave in and rang customer support in india. i spoke to a very polite man Sahil Kamble who after nearly an hour on the phone informed me that my new Dell printer that i purchased solely to print from my Ipad and iphone is compatable and a level 2 technitian will configure the iphones etc for me at a cost of $300. I explained to not only sahil but also his supervisor that i would pay to have it connected and he told me i had to pay or it will not connect. This is disgusting and i have been mis sold the dell printer

I have the same problem. The software that Dell said to download is no longer available from Thinxstream the recommended replacement software Printjinni from Thinxstream installed and sees the printer but will not print says device error check device. The printer is fine. I think I will call Dell and see if there is some different software they recommend.

good luck calling Dell, I got asked loads of questions before we started and the one I need they wanted to charge me for. I am going to return the printer as it is not fit for purpose as it does work with IOS products they want extra for this pleasure which I was told it did work but not at a cost
