Can the A920 printers be shared on a network environment

We just received some of these printers and I wanted to place them around the office and share them for other users to use. I tried setting one up first and when I print to it from another computer on the network, the print job never prints. Can I do what I want to?

CURIOUSCHILD,

Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.

While these are not “network” printers, they can support limited shared network printing. You can find information on setting up the A920 in the following Dell Knowledge Base article:

How Do I Share the Dell™ A920 All-In-One Printer with Other Computers on My Home Network?

I am having the same problem. The printer works fine locally but not over a network share. It feels like a driver issue.  This is in a workgroup setting with xp pro sp 1a. New 2400's w/512 ram. 2 machines, 1 sharing the 920 the other  a 960. Both machines print to the 960 without any problem. When trying to print over the network to the 920, the job sits in the que, and the computer sharing the 920 becomes unusable and needs rebooting. If however instead of trying to kill the job in the que, you bring up task manager on the pc sharing the 920 you will see that DLBKJSWX.EXE & DWWIN.EXE are started. If you kill DWWIN.EXE that will in turn kill DLBKJSWX.EXE and the job prints. If you kill DLBKJSWX.EXE directly the job prints. So thats the beginning, can you bring me home???

Thanks for your help.
