Can't delete documents in queue.

Often when I'm printing something it shows that only 99% printed even though everything did print.  When I go to print something else it won't print because  I cannot delete the documents in queue. Then the printer may suddenly start and print something that I already printed instead of the new document. I have a Dell 920 printer.  HELP! Thank you.

We are having the same issue with our A920 printer.  This behavior just started within the last week after months of working flawlessly.  I tried reinstalling the printer drivers but the problem persists.  The only workaround we've come up with is to turn the printer off, then on again.  The document in question (which printed as expected but appears to remain in the queue as 99% complete) disappears and the next document in the queue prints (only to block the queue as well).

We are running XP Pro on a Dimension 4400.  The printer is connected via USB.  We have Print and File Sharing enabled, and it doesn't matter what you print, or from what PC you print it, it stops at 99%.  You can't Cancel it from the queue; the Print window states "Error processing command" in the Status bar.

I just called Dell Support and after spending 1hr.10mins. with this guy, he said the printer should be ok now.  I hope.  If you call you need the disk that came with your printer, because he has you remove all the files and then reinstall everything.  Good luck.
