Computer Wont Communicate with Printer.. Help!

I've had incredible difficult with my A920 Inkjet printer in the last 2 months and have no idea whats wrong!
 
About a year ago, my family and I stopped using my printer because it was out of ink, and we just kept forgetting to buy more. Well, we eventually did, to find that the printer had somehow uninstalled itself. I couldnt reinstall it because it kept telling me that the spooler service has stopped. This stumped me for about a month. Thanks to this forum, I was able to restart the spooler, and almost install the darn thing. Unfortunately, a problem arose with an unknown specified moniter. Beats me what that is.. But again, I was able to fix with the help of the other forum posts. So finally, the printer is reinstalled, and I think I may have finally fixed it. I turn it on, type on a test page, click "print" and..
 
Goose egg! Now, the computer is telling me that it can't connect with the printer. I disconnect and reconnect every cable associated with the printer.. Power cable, USB port, I restart the computer (3 times!) and nothing!
 
I'm at a loss for words and ideas. Any suggestions? Could the communication problem be somehow leftover from the other issues with the printer?

Dell needs to answer this one. Ive seen alot with similar problems and I have it to.
