michigander55,

Does the iPad have an operating system on it? If so, did you try the Mac OX Drivers? If the operating system is Lion, try looking at Lexmark's website for a similar printer and the drivers may or may not work.

If that doesn't work, try using a bluetooth adapter, it might work.

michigander55,

NOT a Mac person, and own no iPods, iPhone, Mac or Linux products.

I would guess that you would need a bluetooth usb adapter to put in the printer. Then you could print via bluetooth. The printer has a wireless adapter but the drivers are needed to use this function, which you do not have. I would say bluetooth is the method you would have to use. You may want to check with Apple to see if printing with bluetooth is an option.

I'm  new to the Apple product line. The iPad 2 is the first since all other products in home are Dell. Therefore I'm not sure how to answer your question about Operating system. Running iCloud 5.0 and using Safari browser. From articles I've been able to read online, there are only certain brands of printers that are compatible with iPad. The article I read about the Mac driver did not sound as though it were intended for iPads. Not sure what I'd need for Bluetooth between this and printer.
