connect to multiple 1600n's on the same network?
We have three 1600n around the office and each PC can only connect to a single 1600n.
When you try and connect to another (by running the driver installation utility) it removes the previous printer and installs the new one?
When running the installation utility it can see all the printers, but only allows you to select 1 printer via radio buttons. How do you select multiple printers?
I need each PC to connect to all 3 printer for redundancy etc, any ideas?
How do I di it?
All 1600n are on the current firmware and are connected to the network (no USB) all have a manually set unique IP address.

Hi,
When I try this software, it doesn't even find the 1600n's on the network. Have I done something wrong?

You need to set a static IP for each Dell1600N.
My HP network wizard is version 3.06, it see all Dell 1600 and other HP5si printers.
Run the DELL network status monitor centre first. Make sure you see the 1600N and set its static IP and disable other protocols not needed, like AppleTalk, SLP etc...
You would still need the Dell 1600N driver INSTALLED as the HP only take care of the communication side, not driver.
The beauty of this 1600N is the network scanning for up to 32 users, it will create PDF file directly and view on a Acrobat reader allow for filing or Emailing... ( this is not single user! Up ro 32 users per 1600n/1815n)
These are the cheapest scanning solutions ever available compare to a $4K HP9200c or $15K digital copier.
