Connecting to a netwrk printer - not my network

Quite often we spend several weeks at our kids house on vacation where they have a network installed.. A printer is connected to one computer that is connected by a cat 5 cable to the router.  All of their other computers connect to the router using wireless and can use the one printer.  I have full wireless access to their router (Inet connection) but am unable to use their printer.    Can this be done and if so, how?   I do not want to disturb any of my home network configurations or settings.   There must be a way to do but I am stumped...  Help please

 STGCMTED,

Depends on how the printer was installed. Make and model of the printer is helpful.

Also depending on the make and model of your computer and opertaing system. Virus protection and firewalls can block communications. Hopefully if you ask the kids, they can help you with installing the printer drivers on your computer. They are different things to look at, so in order to get things working, I would ask them first. They may just grab the printer disk out and install the drivers from the disk.
