Dell 1815dn incoming fax communication error
My Dell 1815 printer/fax machine doesn't send / receive faxes, it shows Comm. Error Retry. I researched a lot on the net but unable to find a solution to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix, please advise.

Been struggling with the same question for weeks now. I haven't found a solution either. If you find anything please let me know here as well.

I have the same problem as well. My incoming faxes started printing only half a page. When I send a fax to others I am getting the same feedback that they are only receiving half a page. I keep getting an "comm. error retry" message on my lcd screen. Anyone know how to fix this? Wondering if this might be related to Vonage, my phone service provider. Although I have had Vonage since 9 months now and it has only been in the last few weeks I started having this problem.
Please help.

Very common problem with many Fax/Printer machines.
A. I you can, try a different service. Land line
B. Your Modem Card could be fried. PN JJ312
