Okay, does anyone have any information on this topic at all? Do reps from Dell read this forum? I cannot believe that there are no drivers for one of Dell's top laser printers for Windows XP / 64 bit........
If you are using a 3000cn doesn't the n in the cn mean that you have network connect on the printer itself. I have a 3100cn that is connected thru the network connection on the printer so you should not need a print server. I have it working thru Win x64 that has a driver up for on Dell's site now. BUT they give you a driver that is incomplete to setup over the network. So I had to work around this problem by setting it up on my Win2000 box and sharing it back to the Win x64 box so I could install the x64 driver thru printers have disk button. I hope this helps.

PS If someone can help me with the way that a network printer is to be setup without sharing it thru computer please let me know.
thanks mikey,
only doubt i had was.....does d update work for 3000CN as well...i hope it does...Fingers crossed!!!
else someone at DELL...please look into it !!!!
Could not find the Setup.exe file myself... however I was able to install printer and the features I needed to use via add a printer... Althought I would have never Initially thought that to install a network printer you would have to use the option for install a local printer then add a "network" printer port.
But I am thankful that It installed and all features appear to work.
