Dell 942 AIO Printer/Vista Problems

Hello, I am having a problem with Windows Vista Ultimate (32 bit version) and the Dell 942 Vitsa drivers.  they say they installed properly, and I have the print option under my file menu for all programs, and the 942 shows up, but then when I try to print...nothing happens and after a while says it failed to communicate.  Says check the USB cable and all of that stuff, well did all of that, even made sure that the firewall was not blocking it.  No luck.  I need to get this going ASAP since I am a league secratary for a bowling league.  Thanks Bill

I am having the same problem, with the 942 drivers dated 3/16/2007. It says it cannot communicate with the printer. The scanner side of it works fine, i can scan documents into applications, just cannot print anything.

I am having trouble printing to an XP workstation with my 942 on it. I have followed all instructions I can find and it still get communications error. I can print from another XP workstation to the one with the 942 attached. I need help. Its been over two months since I have been able to print. Vista drivers should work not make me spend hours and hours trying to make something that worked on a previous version of windows work again.
