Dell MFP H825cdw Scan to network folder error
Hello All.
I set up and configured this printer on our domain via wifi. Added it to the print server and it works fine. I am trying to set up scan to a network folder. I am trying to create a server address in the address book but it keeps telling me incorrect settings on the server address but I know it's correct. I tried both server name and IP. I'm doing \\servername\sharefolder . I make sure I put good creds at the bottom. I have a new HP that i set up pretty much the same way and that one works fine for scanning. Any thoughts? Thanks

BrianVO,
Below are some links to possibly help you in resolving this issue. The link to the Printer Manual is listed as well.

At the link below is information on a different printer, but information could be helpful.

Click the link to reach the Dell KB articles containing information on scanning to network.

Thank you for that information. I followed the instructions and am now getting an error that the login credentials are incorrect, but they aren't. I am using the exact same credentials on another scanner and they work fine. I am doing mydomain\username and the password. Any suggestions? Thank you.

BrianVO,
Just a checklist to go over. If that doesn't work open up the manual and try the setup process again. If needed you may want to contact Dell Printer Support for advanced troubleshooting.

Hello.
As I said before, I am using the EXACT same information on an HP printer/scanner and it's working fine. I have verified the information several times. I guess I will have to suffer through a call with support. Thank you.
