Dell Photo Printer 720

Question

My Dell 720 printer is connected to my new Dell 3000 pc. When I go to ControlPanel\Printers and try to print a test page the printer works correctly. But when I try to print a Word document:

I first get the usual Word print screen, on which I click OK
But then when I click on the print screen the second time to send the document to the printer, the printer never receives the document andinstead a Save As Word screen comes up.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks. ...wdc

This is a guess. Open Control Panel, Printers. Make sure the Dell 720 have a little check mark, indicating it's the default printer. If not, right-click it, and select Set as default printer.
