Does EVERYTHING print small or just from one application?
Go to Control Panel/Printer. RIGHT click on the icon for your printer and then LEFT click Properties. Click the button to print a test page and see if it prints "normal" size. If it does, there is nothing wrong with the installation.
Fire bird...OK.I went to the control panel and did what you advised...the test page came out normal / good... but then I printed a page from a site and it came out in mini-print ( and I mean small) it also did the same when I hi-lighted (copied) a section and sent it to printer and checked the print selection only ....BOTH so small that it is difficult to read without a magnifier glass............anything else you can advise I will appreciate it. Thanks Ray
I get the exact same thing with with some sites (not all) with my Epson. The problem is not with the printer or the printer driver. The issue is, apparently how I.E.7 formats or it could be the sites???. I don't have a fix for it but it's a "global" problem (affects all users). If you set a larger font in Windows it may fix it. As an example, Annie's Attic (a crafts site) has a daily pattern of the day and some times I print them out for my wife, if I print directly from the page with the pattern it will come out small, fortunately they have a "printer friendly" option and the printer friendly page prints out in a larger and readable font. Before they had the printer friendly option I would have to copy the pattern to MS Word, then use word to increase the size of the font so it would be readable.
Here is the referenced Annie's Attic pattern of the day. CLICK ME If I print directly from this page it is in very small print. But If I click on the Printer Friendly Version then it prints in "normal size" print.
Hey Fireberd..tried it all ways, no luck.. Spent over two hours, just on trying to find info. and fix it, but nothing I do is helping..so I am going to give up on it and buy a new printer. Thanks again for your help. I truly appreciate it. Ray
