Dell Printer Al in one Model V525w
M y name is Jerry Steiner and have a Microsoft Vista HomePremium with a 32 bit Processor my Browser is Internet 8. I have a wireless network and have the printer hooked up to the network. I just bought the Dell Printer Al in one Model V525w and am having trouble figuring out how to scan. Can someone show me where I can get instructions on how to scan and print or scan and save to my comuter etc.

After I gave McAffee permission to always allow this device I tried another scan and the issue went away. I a m still curious to find out if you can the change the default setting to save it to save as a txt file for example.

I had a little bit of a breakthrough when I created a profile it gave me a choice of different file attribute. This profile only lasts while the printer is on. I can't figure out how to save the profile. When I open Dell Printer Home One of the options under the title Scan is document if I press on the link it will walk me through creating a profile and after that I will be able to save the document to any file type I want as long as the printer is on everything is fine once the printer is turned of and subsequently turned back on I have to go through the process. Can you help me figure out a way to save my profile.
