Dell V305 printer
I have had the Dell V305 printer for years now and all of a sudden when I open my imaging toolbox and click on copy, it copies the image and then when I see that it is copied and I want to print it. I click on the green copy now button on the screen and nothing happens. If I scan it first to a document and then hit print it will work, but I shouldn't have to do that. What happened? Is my printer broke or what casued this

Frustrated Neo,
Yor post needs some clarification.
Copy is when you put a document on the glass/ADF and copy the document, like a copying machine.
Scanning a document to a program is a different function. If scanning a document, to what program are you trying to scan to? Look at...
Start, all programs, ABBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint, ABBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint
Is this program installed?
What virs program and firewall are you using?

Pudgyone,
When I want to just copy something I put it one the glass of my scanner/printer, I then click on copy and it copies it to my computer screen, after this a new picture opens up on the computer screen and it is a split screen. On the left side I can choose my print settings, on the right side I can click on copy now (which would usually make me as many copies as I chose, but now it does absolutely nothing (it will print me copies if I scan it first and put it into word, and then from my file I press print, but thats not what I want and need) I have Norton 360 and I have abby finereader. Like I said I have used this printer for about three years now and no issues until now. Is the printer broke.

Frustrated Neo,
So you're scanning an image to the computer, correct?
You didn't state which program.
I'm not sure if this printer uses, Dell All-In-One Center, Dell Imaging Toolbox or Dell Printer Home. Try reading...
Update list of applications to send scans to
When I scan, I scan my documents to Open Office swriter.exe(like Microsoft Word, but FREE) as .RTF
I scan my images to IrfanView as .JPG

My printer uses the imaging toolbox, when I go into the toolbox it opens a window that gives me an option to scan, or copy. I pick copy and when the image is ready to be copied I am suppose to click on the copy now (green button ) thats on my computer screen and when I do nothing happens. I have uninstalled and re installed the printer and it says everything is fine, but it won't copy. If I click on my printer icon on the taskbar it says NO documents to print

Frustrated Neo,
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Start, control panel, programs and features, Dell V305w Printer, uninstall.
Restart your computer.
Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
With the computer online, insert the printer disk.
Is the printer using the wireless adapter? If yes, does the printer have a WiFi light and show it's connected?

Frustrated Neo,
Did that work? A stuck print job can cause some problems and it even lets you go through the motions of uninstall/install and the problem is still there.
