Does the 5100cn have a wireless add on?

Hello,

I have a 5100cn, and looking at the back of it, there doesn't appear to be a slot where I can add a wireless NIC to it. All it has is the RJ45 slot and a printer slot. So I was wondering if there is a kit where I can convert this printer into a wireless one.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Dell Printer Wireless USB 3310 Adapter can be used to make the printer Wireless provided there is a MPC (Multi-Protocol Card) card present in the printer.

The Multi-Protocol Card (MPC) and wireless USB adapter are sold separately as optional components. The adapter will plug into the MPC card. The Dell Printer Wireless USB 3310 Adapter kit includes the antenna cap, Wireless USB adapter, and the Wireless USB cap.

Please use the following link for more information about the card and adapter: http://bit.ly/SoUUc2

Below is the picture of MPC and Wireless USB 3310 Adapter.

Please reply for any further questions.

Hi,

Just wanted to make sure. I looked at the link provided, and it says that it is designed for the 3110cn printer. Does it also work with the 5100cn?

Thanks!
