Duplexer Question

I recently installed the duplexer and the driver wants to turn off duplex printing for any paper type other than plain 1. I know I have to go the settings for the paper tray through the web access to change paper type, but I can't seem to get it to print two sided on card stock or coated paper settings.

the duplexer is not designed for use with anything other than plain paper, so it disables it if the type is changed.

Sure wish they had said that in the description. I primarily bought the duplexer to do brochures on coated paper which can't be done! I can see where cardstock might be an issue, but coated paper?

you can try coated paper on plain1 settings, but you might have jam problems.
