E525w Low Density Error Menu cannot be reached Cartridge detached error Menu cannot be reached

Dell E525w Multifunction Laser Printer

When turned on printer halts with code 093-919 (Yellow Low Density Error)
Printer is unresponsive to all panel buttons

Dell recommended fix:  Remove cartridge causing the error and restart the printer.  Then use the menus to change the Altitude setting for the Yellow toner

When turned on with Yellow toner cartridge removed as instructed printer halts with Cartridge detached error
Printer is unresponsive to all panel buttons

Dell recommended fix: Make sure the toner cartridge is properly seated in the printer

When turned on with Yellow toner cartridge properly seated as instructed printer halts with Yellow Low Density
Printer is unresponsive to all panel buttons

My question is how do I get past these error messages and adjust the Altitude setting?

    Tech Support responded.

Out of Warranty.  Wait for someone in the community to respond

Is there anyone who knows how to bypass an error message in order to reach the menu settings required to clear the error?

As I noted in the original post, Dell's recommended method simply locks the printer up with a different error.

Same here.  I can't access the menus at all.  With my new cartridges installed or with the old ones.
